Al Falah Center Participates in Planning Meeting for Day of the African Child Celebrations

Al Falah Center Administrator, Ahmed Sett, today attended a planning meeting ahead of the upcoming Day of the African Child celebrations scheduled to take place on 16th June 2026.

The meeting brought together stakeholders and organizers to coordinate preparations for the commemorative event, which will be hosted by the Department of Child Development in collaboration with the National Government. Discussions focused on planning activities and ensuring successful participation of schools and institutions involved in the celebration.

During the meeting, Alfalah Primary School and Soha Primary School were identified among a selected number of schools that will participate in the event. Their inclusion reflects recognition of their role in promoting children’s education and development within the community.

Ahmed Sett appreciated the opportunity for the schools to participate in such an important event, noting that the Day of the African Child serves as a platform to advocate for children’s rights, education, welfare, and overall development.
