The Centre was established in the year 2015 under the sponsorship of Dr. Hafeez Ul-Rahman and family so as to care of Orphans and needy children from the resident refugee and local community resident in Benane which is a spill over settlement form Dadaab Refugee camp. The center comprises of Rahma Academy Benane registered as a Private Primary School in 2021 and Benane Madrassa.

We had 20 pupils as our first KCPE candidates in the year 2022 and the performance was exemplary with a mean score of 335.2 out of 500 marks. The final class of KCPE in 2023 has emulated the past with the 16 candidates attaining a mean of 330 out of 500 marks.
